Frosty Spring morning at Widefield Park. Lewis's Woodpecker there today, Belted Kingfisher with a crayfish, Chickadees excavating a hole - Cooper's Hawks returning to a nest - Spring signs everywhere.

Mt Herman when the snow flurries quit.  The bare middle swath is from a fire 20-30 years ago - we saw scorched trees in the park.  There are now some aspen coming in on wetter parts of that bare patch.
