The Sundance Trail at Cheyenne Mountain State Park is the main lower-elevation loop trail and easy terrain. It is predominantly scrub oak and grass land next to foothills. Great for easy biking. Can be hot as a lot of it is not highly shaded. A few parts of it are rather close to the highway so that you can sometimes hear/see cars on the road. Good Prairie Dog and rabbit habitat. But even Mountain Lions come down here, so you always should be careful in this park. Admission is $7, but the security of the lot - like someone will notice if you don't return to your car at the end of the day - is kind of nice.
