Christmas Count Colorado Springs 12/14/13 areas 6b and 8c
We birded about 6.5 hours walking over 6 miles to cover 6b from about 7:30 to 1:30, and then 2:15 - 4:15 to cover 8c mostly by car as it is all private property.
Best birds - 6c Wilson's Snipe, Eastern Winter Wren, 3 yr. Bald Eagle
8c - American Three-Toed Woodpecker (no photos, unfortunately)
most abundant bird - Canada Goose - 760, followed by European Starling 484.
