Florissant Fossil Beds 6-9-18

I asked my friend who worked here about this barn, she said, "Just maintenance storage, mostly. There’s no access to water so there’s no way to make it a public building. It’s called the Cusack barn after the last family that lived at that portion of the property. Or sometimes, the Potato Barn because that’s what they farmed there. The ditches in the nearby hills are potato terraces farmed (partly) by POWs in WWII."
