Castlewood Canyon 11/14/15

The trail we'd planned to do was closed and things were also icier than we expected.  We walked about 4 miles most off-trail just exploring the canyon rim. (154.25 runtotal)

Rampart Range 11-7-15

We walked up the Rampart Range Road from Garden of the Gods into the Waldo Canyon burn area east of Cascade and back, about 8.25 miles (150.25 runtotal) with about 1300 feet elevation gain before we turned around.  It was in the 30s for most of the hike, we could often see our breath, but it was sunny.  A temperature inversion created a hazy morning.  Very little traffic on the road - we had it mostly to ourselves, very peaceful.

About 5 miles (142 runtotal) on the Palmer Divide loop.  Beautifully clear sky today.
